Languages: what you pick in your own panel
This usually surprises people coming from other providers: our shared hosting does not run PHP alone. There are selectors in cPanel that let you choose each language's version, and even run Node or Python applications without needing a server of your own.

| PHP | A wide spread of versions, from old to current, chosen per domain. You can also switch extensions on and off — see how to change your PHP version |
| Node.js | «Setup Node.js App» in cPanel, with several versions to choose from. You create the application, point it at the folder and the startup file, and it runs. |
| Python | Its own selector, with several versions of the 3 series. Good for applications and for cron scripts. |
| Ruby | Selector present, working the same way. |
| Perl and CGI | Yes. Perl installed and the CGI handlers active for .cgi, .pl and similar. Old Perl scripts run without rework. |
| This is not the norm. Several well-known providers answer «Perl/CGI not supported» and «Node only on VPS». It is not like that here. If you were told you need a VPS purely to run a Node application or a Perl script, ask us before buying — you may be paying for something you already have. |

How to confirm what your account has
The exact versions available can differ between servers and change over time, so the value that counts is your account's. Log into cPanel and look: the PHP selector tells you which versions are available, and the Setup Node.js App and Python selector icons appear if they are enabled for you. If you cannot find one, ask before concluding it does not exist.
