Writing, improving and translating text with AI in Sitejet Builder

The short answer: in the Sitejet editor, select a text or headline and press the AI icon on the element toolbar. Choose Generate text to write from scratch, or a quick action: Improve, Make shorter, Make longer, Fix spelling & grammar and Translate to. The same panel opens from Assets > AI Writer in the left sidebar. What you type in the description goes to ChatGPT, and the result is a draft you have to review.

The AI Writer fields

Field	What to put
Element	The text or headline the result goes into. You can change it with the element picker.
Input language / Output language	The language you write the description in, and the language you want the text in.
Description	The facts: the product or industry, years of experience, the team, the speciality. The more concrete, the better the text.
Max. Word	The longest the text may be, in words.
Content Type, Tone, Reading Level	The kind of text, the tone (friendly, formal) and the reading level.
Target Group, Author	Who the text is for, and whether it speaks in the first person («we») or the third.

Writing a text from scratch

1	Open the site in the editor: in cPanel, Domains > Sitejet Builder, and the edit button next to the domain.

2	Select the text you want to replace, for example the «About us», press the AI icon and choose Generate text.

3	Fill in the description with true facts and choose the output language. The other fields are optional.

4	Press Generate text. The text shows in the panel and goes into the selected element.

5	Read it and fix it. If you do not like it, generate again with the same settings: every answer comes out different.

Putting the site in another language

1	In the editor, open Pages > Languages, tick Enable multilanguage, choose the new language and save.

2	In the page list for the new language, press Translate: the page is translated by AI from the main language. By default, only the home page.

3	Review the translation, buttons and menus included. From now on, the addresses carry the language, such as /pt/ and /en/.

4	If you would rather translate by hand, switch automatic translation off in Settings > Preferences.

Do not type personal data into the description: customer names, phone numbers, ID numbers, health details. The text goes to an outside AI service. What comes back may be wrong or incomplete, and the same text may be given to someone else. Sitejet sets a daily limit on generated words: if it stops generating, try again the next day. Write the facts, let the AI handle the wording. Pasting your own text and asking for Improve or Make shorter works better than asking for a text out of nothing. Changing one language does not change the others: finish the main language first and translate afterwards. Before translating, read translating your website with AI.
