Free domain with a hosting plan: which billing cycles include it and which extensions

Choosing the Right Plan·· 5 views· 4 min read

The short answer: the free domain comes with the hosting plans (Pro, Plus, Ultra and the three Business plans) and the reseller plans, only on 1, 2 and 3-year cycles. Paying monthly, quarterly or every six months there is no free domain. The longer the cycle, the more extensions the offer covers. The domain is free for the first year; after that it renews at the normal price.

Which extensions each level covers

Level Extensions
Level 1 .com, .net, .org and the other lower-cost ones
Level 2 Level 1, plus .co.mz, .org.mz, .online, .info, .shop, .site, .co, .biz and many more
Level 3 Level 2, plus .store and others like it
Level 4 Level 3, plus .io, .tech and others
Level 5 Almost every extension we sell

Extra free domains and discounts, by cycle

On top of the main domain, some plans give more free domains for the first year, and a discount on the first year of the domains after that. The extra free ones come from a lower level; the discount applies to the extensions of the level shown.

How to get the free domain

1 Choose the plan and a 1, 2 or 3-year cycle. Hover over (or tap) «Free Domains» on the plan card and the site shows the extensions for each cycle.
2 Search for the domain in the same order. In the cart, the domain the offer covers shows as free. An extension outside the cycle's level pays the normal price.
3 Pay the order. The plan and the domain go live together, and the domain is registered in your name.
4 Want the domain for longer? You can choose more years in the cart: the first stays free and you pay only for the years after it.
The free domain is chosen when you buy the plan. Renewing the plan does not give another domain, and switching from monthly to yearly later does not add the offer to the old order. If you already bought the plan without a domain, talk to us before registering the domain separately.
The discount is for the first year only of each extra domain; from the second year it renews at the normal price. The cart applies the free domains and the discount on its own, in the order you add the domains. To choose a plan, see Pro, Plus, Ultra or Business.

Not sure whether the extension you want is covered by your plan? Ask us before you buy.
